Along with the workforce behind the project was researchers from partners like Nvidia Inc, Penguin Computing Inc, and Pure Storage Inc.
As of now, Meta’s supercomputer is the world’s fifth fastest supercomputers, housing 6,080 Nvidia graphics-processing units. According to Meta, the AI RSC will become the fastest supercomputer in the world by mid-summer. When the system is fully built, it will potentially house around as many as 16,000 GPUs!
