Rite Aid, Food Lion cover racy magazine covers

In response to a campaign from the National Center of Sexual Exploitation, Food Lion and Rite Aid have agreed to place a protective overlay on the Cosmo magazine in their display section. The Cosmo magazine is known for its racy cover images.

Not all agree with this decision. Demi Lovato, a former Disney Channel star, argues that her risque magazine cover image shows her as “the most beautiful she has ever felt.”

Research indicate that pornography use affects teen sexual behavior as well as harming humans’ ability to enagage in “pair-bonding.”
