Pornography Use Again Linked To Support of Violence Against Women

A recent study (click here to read it) has corroborated past research indicating that men who use pornography are more likely to support violence against women.

Researchers randomly selected 200 Danish young adults and measured levels of agreeableness, past pornography consumption, and their attitudes about violence towards women. The relationship between pornography consumption and support of violence towards women was significant in men who had lower levels of agreeableness.

These results are not surprising, of course. As users have become more desensitized, even mainstream pornography has become more violent. Almost all acts of violence in pornographic material are committed against women.

Today, is it vital that we teach basic values to our children that will allow them to see pornography as the danger it is! Click here to read more about arming young children about pornography.
